The service

hooks.social provides access to publicly available TikTok and Instagram data. Coverage is those two platforms. We do not promise every field, every account, or uninterrupted access when a platform changes or blocks a request.

A failed response is free. A response that returns data spends 1 credit, including when the response was served from cache. The debit is reported on the response.

Keys and access

Call the API with Authorization: Bearer and a key in the form hk_live_…. You are responsible for every call made with a key you hold.

You can create and turn off keys from your account. We show the full key once. Keep it private.

Credits

Credits are prepaid and do not expire. When the balance cannot cover a call, the API returns HTTP 402 and does not debit. There is no overage rate and no open meter.

Pack prices on the pricing page are the prices for those credit packs.

Acceptable use

Do not break access controls or resell raw access in a way that hides who is calling. Do not use the API to harm, stalk, or unlawfully profile people.

You are responsible for complying with the law that applies to you and with TikTok and Instagram’s terms as they apply to your use of public data. A request that returns no data is a failed call.

hooks.social is an independent product. It is not endorsed by TikTok, ByteDance, Instagram, or Meta.
